The 2020 Absolute Return Fund aims to provide investors with consistent, absolute returns that are uncorrelated to traditional asset classes by utilising highly liquid investment strategies across four main asset classes: equities, fixed income, currencies and commodities.
The Fund invests primarily in derivatives traded on major global futures and options exchanges. Exposure to these alternative strategies, which generally have a low correlation with the performance of investments in a shares, fixed interest or commodities portfolio, has the potential to provide additional diversification for your portfolio.

The 2020 Absolute Return Fund has been designed to capitalise on opportunities in markets that are not always efficient. The 2020 investment team employs proprietary technology and rigorous analysis to identify and profit from the mispricing of financial assets.
The investment team comprises former senior executives of major financial institutions with experience across all major asset sectors in all market cycles. The investment process is grounded by their institutional risk management experience with a paramount focus on capital preservation which forms the centre of the risk management policy for the Fund. The Fund's highly disciplined risk management process closely manages the downside risk in each investment position as well as across the entire portfolio.
