The BlackRock Global Allocation Fund provides an investor the opportunity to access a single Fund that offers broad global exposure that is not constrained by asset allocation ranges or benchmarks and can invest in any asset class, anywhere, at anytime.
The types of securities and markets the Fund invests in will vary in response to changing market conditions and economic trends. With this approach, the investment team strives to achieve attractive total returns, while spreading the risks associated with investing in only one asset class or market.
Investors may benefit from the active security selection, which aims to take advantage of global investment opportunities wherever and whenever they arise while retaining the flexibility to move into safer investments when conditions demand. Ultimately the Fund aims to cushion investors in severe market downturns and enables them to participate in upturns.
This approach may make the Fund an ideal “core” global equity holding for some investors because of the lower volatility profile of the Fund. The Fund has the highest 5 Star Rating from independent research house Morningstar and 4 star from Standard & Poors' (S&P).
