The Challenger Property Securities Fund aims to provide investors with regular income and medium to long term capital growth by investing in a diversified portfolio of listed property and property related securities. The fund objective is to outperform its benchmark, the S&P/ASX 300 A-REIT Accumulation Index over rolling three year periods.
Investors can gain access to a diversified and professionally managed portfolio of listed property securities on the ASX (but may include other stock exchanges) including listed property trusts (LPTs), real estate investment trusts (REITs), or companies involved in property devlopment, management, development or construction.
Challenger seeks to identify the major trends in the economy and look at how these will influence financial and property markets. The aim is to position the fund to be able to take advantage of future economic and property market developments by analysing both global and domestic economic prospects. Challenger adopts a combination of a top-down macroeconomic and bottom-up company specific research and analysis approach to stock selection, enabling them to identify stocks with the most potential to deliver superior performance over the medium to long term.
The Challenger Property Securities Fund is managed by an experienced real estate securities team with over 40 years of combined experience. The team use their unique investment process of combining property marketing research and individual property securities analysis to create a diversified portfolio of the most attractive property securities in the market.
