The strategy for Colonial First State Geared Global Share Fund aims to add value by investing, over the medium-to-long term, in quality companies with sustainable earnings per share growth and sensible valuations. The Fund seeks to invest in companies that are competitive on a global as well as local basis. The Fund's gearing effective magnifies returns from the underlying investments, whether they are gains or losses. The Colonial First State Geared Global Share Fund may partially hedge currency risk.
