The Colonial FirstState FirstChoice Generation Global Sustainability Fund embodies the sustainable investment principles developed by the co-founders of Generation Investment Management - former US Vice President Al Gore and former CEO of Goldman Sachs Asset Management David Blood.
Generation Investment Management believes economic, health, environmental, social and governance factors affect a company's ability to grow revenues, manage risk and costs and ultimately drive competitive position and share price over the long term. They also believe sustainable factors will grow in importance over time. The Generation Global Sustainability Fund invests in the companies that they believe best understand and respond to these factors and have the potential to profit the most from these global changes.
