The Gunns Woodlot Project 2008 offers investors a unique investment opportunity to become a grower of approximately one hectare woodlots of Eucalyptus or Radiata Pine wood located throughout Tasmania and the Southern Highlands region of New South Wales.

Growers have the flexibility of selecting from three planting options

Option 1: Eucalyptus wood grown in Tasmania for sale as pulp logs (13 years)
Option 2: Eucalyptus wood grown in Tasmania for sale as high quality veneer and pulp logs (20 years)
Option 3: Radiata Pine grown in Tasmania and the Southern Highlands region of NSW for sale as high quality sawlogs and pulpwood (25 years)

The Gunns Woodlot Project 2008 is expected to generate income for Growers from

thinnings
- Option 1 & 2: in year 9
- Option 3: in years 13 and 18
at final harvest
- Option 1: year 13
- Option 2: in year 20
- Option 3: in year 25

Gunns Plantations Limited has a firm 'off-take' agreement with Gunns Limited for the sale of all wood grown under Option 1 and Option 2 and for wood grown in Tasmania under Option 3. Gunns Limited has agreed to the Draft Wood Sale Agreement which guaratees a minimum price for Growers' timber in relation to the price received for the final value added product.

Lonsec has given the Gunns Woodlot Project a rating of "Recommended".

Fee Disclosure

2020 DIRECTINVEST will rebate 8.0% of the 10.0% upfront commission on investments in the Gunns Woodlot Project 2008 in the form of a cheque. 2020 DIRECTINVEST will retain 2.0% to cover the costs of marketing, postage & handling and administration of this fund. No trailing commission is paid on the Gunns Woodlot Project 2008.
