The OnePath ING Select Leaders Trust invests in a concentrated portfolio of 15-35 Australian shares that reflects ING Investment Management's Australian Equity investment process and aims to achieve returns (before fees, charges and taxes) that exceed the S&P/ASX 100 Accumulation Index by at least 4.5% pa over periods of five or more years.

Investment Style
ING Management Limited is the appointed investment manager of the OnePath ING Select Leaders Trust. INGIM takes a style agnostic approach, believing that stock selection should take into account the best performing companies at each stage of the investment cycle and therefore tends to avoid any style biases. Stocks generally move in the same direction during periods of strong positive or negative momentum in the sharemarket regardless of their intrinsic value. However eventually economic news will begin to have a diminished impact on share prices as good or bad news has already been factored into the share price and this will be reflected in a greater divergence in performance between sectors and stocks. Instead events specific to the industry or company become the critical drivers of a company's performance and it is during these periods where stocking picking skills become critical to successful investing. A style agnostic investment strategy allows for nimble stock picking that combine well over different cycles.
