MQ Term Plus is an equity linked investment product from Macquarie Bank Limited. By purchasing a note at the issue price, you will be entitled to the following benefits:
- You will earn a Fixed Interest Amount following the end of each fixed interest period
- You may receive a Bonus Interest Amount following the end of each Bonus Interest Period
- You will also receive a beneficial interest in the Beneficially Owned Parcel (please refer to Section 2.6.2 of the PDS)
MQ Term Plus is available in a 2 year term or 5 year term. At Maturity, the settlement amount your settlement amount is:
- the Issue Price of each of your Notes
- and the sale proceeds of your beneficial interest in the Beneficially Owned Parcel
In addition you may receive:
- any Fixed Interest Amount which may be payable
- and any Bonus Interest Amount which may be payable
By purchasing MQ Term Plus Notes you:
- receive a fixed based rate of interest
- have the potential to enhance your yield (above the fixed base rate) by linking your total return to the annualised performance of a particular Reference Security (up to Cap Rate) and
- purchase an investment which may be an eligible investment for self managed super funds
