Man AHL Diversified (AUD) is the first fund in a new series of alternative investment funds and continues the OM-IP-tradition. Since 1997, 33 OM-IP funds have been launched by Man Investments and have raised more than A$7 billion#. A key component of these OM-IP funds is the AHL Diversified Program which is managed by Man Investments in London.
The AHL Diversified Program
Man AHL Diversified (AUD) provides investors with access to the AHL Diversified Program, one of the world’s longest running managed futures programs which has had a low correlation with the performance of traditional asset classes. This program is built to capture opportunities and to analyse trends across a broad range of markets. A computer driven program spreads risk and invests in more than 150 international markets in a wide range of different sectors including bonds, stocks, currencies, short term interest rates, metals, energy, volatility, credit and agricultural markets. It takes advantage of global market trends, and seeks to identify opportunities to profit from price movements and other market inefficiencies around the world.
The AHL Diversified Program has a history of generating returns that have a high degree of independence from the direction of Australian and global stock markets. This program has provided investors with diversification during stock market corrections and aims to deliver returns that are not dependent on the continued growth of stock markets.^
The AHL Diversified Program has delivered a compound annual return of 12.5% over the last five years and a compound annual return of 19.6% since March 1996. Investors should note that past performance is not a reliable indicator of future performance.
