For investors starting a pension account, MLC MasterKey Pension is a platform that assists in constucting, building and managing a retirement portfolio. Available investment options include a wide range of single and multi-manager funds investing in specific and diversified investment market sectors. This includes funds managed by MLC as well as by other leading fund managers.
The "Ready-to Invest" Menu is a simple and reliable way to invest - comprising of diversified multi-manager, multi-sector investment options that are managed by MLC's investment team applying MLC MasterKey's Manager of Managers Investment Process. For a more hands on approach, the "Sector Choice" Menu enables investors to be more active in constructing their investment portfolio, with specific market sector investment options, managed by both MLC and other leading fund managers.
Opening a pension with MLC MasterKey is a simple process:
- Determine your eligibility to commence a pension
- Determine the type of investment you want to make
- Determine the amount and frequency of your regular payments
- Construct your portfolio using MLC MasterKey Pensions "Ready-to Invest" and/or "Sector Choice" Menus
- Make your application and send to MLC to be set up
