The Rewards Berry Project 2008 will grow high quality commercial varieties of strawberries and blueberries. The project will aim to grow Australia's biggest, juiciest, brightest and most irresistible strawberries and the Rewards Group has exclusive access to the USA-developed and patented Driscoll Strawberries.
The strawberry plantations will be located in Caboolture, Queensland and the Yarra Valley, Victoria. The blueberries will be grown in the Yarra Valley, Victoria. The project will operate for approximately 18 years, with a strawberry crop every year commencing the first year and a blueberry crop every year commencing the second year.
The Australian strawberry and blueberry industry has a combined farm gate value of about $230 million. Australian Agribusiness Research predicted that in the next five years the Australian strawberry industry will be worth $374 million with production levels of 70,000 tonnes.

Early growers: $6,600 Incl GST
Late growers : $6,400 Incl GST
The Rewards Berry Project 2008 is supported by an ATO Ruling.
