What happens after I send in my application form?

You will receive a confirmation letter after your application form has been processed by Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited.


Who answers superannuation related queries?

Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited will be available to answer all superannuation-related client queries and can be contacted at blackrocksupersma@gpml.com.au or 1300 366 657.


How do I login to view my SuperSMA?

A new login will be setup and emailed to you.

Please note existing BlackRock SMA (2020 DIRECTINVEST BlueChip Series) investors who wish to view their BlackRock SuperSMA Accounts via their existing login can request this by contacting BlackRock Client Service at cps@blackrock.com or call 1300 366 101.


How can I contribute to my BlackRock SuperSMA?

Contributions can be made by:
  • Cheque;
  • Direct transfers from your employer’s payroll system (if your employer permits);
  • Direct deposit into the Fund’s bank account.
Please send the completed original form for each type of contribution by post to the Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited.


Where do I send my cheque and the contribution form to?

All cheques and contribution forms should be sent to the Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited.

Cheques should be made payable as follows:
TTCSL ATF SuperSMA <BlackRock SuperSMA> and cross it “Not Negotiable”.


Can I Direct Deposit in to my BlackRock SuperSMA?

Yes, direct deposits are acceptable.

Deposit the funds directly into the following account:

How frequently can I make my contributions?

Contributions can be made at any time and there is no minimum contribution required, subject to contribution rules and the Work Test under superannuation legislation.


What reports/statements are provided and when?

Each year you will receive or be given access to an Individual Member Statement from Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited  that outlines your investment as at the preceding 30th June.

The transactions that will appear on your statement will include: balance as at previous year, contributions, rollovers, investments earnings (net of relevant fees, costs and taxes), insurance premiums, withdrawals, contributions tax, fees and costs deducted directly from your BlackRock SuperSMA Account and your balance at the end of the year.


How can I transfer money from my other super funds into my BlackRock SuperSMA Account?

If you wish to transfer your benefits in another superannuation fund(s) to the BlackRock SuperSMA, simply complete the form “Easy Transfer Form”, and return it to Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited for processing.

You will need to include a certified copy of your proof of ID such as a Drivers Licence or Passport.

Including a copy of the your previous fund’s membership statement will assist Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited to process your transfer.


How long will it take to process a transfer into my BlackRock SuperSMA?

Not all superannuation funds process transfers in the same way, but expect the processing of your transfer to take a minimum of 10 working days.


What types of insurance are available through the BlackRock SuperSMA?

Insurance cover available includes:
  • Death only;
  • Death and TPD
  • Income Protection
How can I apply for insurance cover?

To apply for insurance cover, you will need to complete the Life Insurance Application Form and mail it to Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited.


Is insurance cover compulsory?

Insurance cover is optional for members and is not automatically applied to every member of the BlackRock SuperSMA upon joining.


How can I cancel or change my insurance cover?

To cancel or change your insurance cover, please contact Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited in writing.


What investment options do I have?

The investment models available are outlined in the “Investment Models” section of the BlackRock SuperSMA PDS.


What Customisations are available in the BlackRock SuperSMA?

No customisations are available for the BlackRock SuperSMA.


Do I receive income or dividends from securities?

Income or dividends from investments held in the SMA, when paid, are added to your cash holding in the SMA and automatically re-invested in proportion to your selected Investment Model(s).


What is the minimum trade size?

A default minimum trade size is pre-determined. This means that securities in your account will generally only be traded if the trade size is greater than or equal to that of the specified minimum trade size.

The minimum trade size is applied per security, per trade. This default is currently 0.20% for accounts under $50,000 and $100 for accounts over $50,000.


What fees apply to the BlackRock SuperSMA?

By investing through 2020 DIRECTINVEST the fees that apply to the BlackRock SuperSMA may include:
  • Management Costs payable to GPML and BlackRock (eg. Fund Administration fees, Underlying Investment Administration fees, Underlying Investment Management fees and Expense Recovery fees).
  • Dealer Group Service Fee payable to 2020.
  • Investment switching fees payable to GPML when applicable.
  • Termination fee payable to GPML when applicable.
Are there any Termination Fees to close the investment?

The Termination fee is $100 if your account balance is more than $1,000.


Are there any Investment Switching Fees?

The Switching fee is $10 per Investment Model switch.


What are Management Costs in the BlackRock SuperSMA?

Management Costs in the BlackRock SuperSMA include the Fund Administration fee, Underlying Investment Administration fee and Expense Recovery fee.

Depending on the investment model chosen, Underlying Investment Management and Performance fees may also apply.


Why is a Dishonour Fee charged?

Where a contribution or rollover cheque is dishonoured, a fee may be charged against your cash holding in the BlackRock SuperSMA. This covers the Grosvenor Pirie Management Limited’s costs of liaising with the Bank.
