The Truth about Fees
Entry fees are normally deducted from the initial investment as well as all additional and regular investments. This entry fee is normally paid to your financial adviser, and where you invest in a fund with no financial adviser the entry fee is retained by the fund manager.
Invest in virtually any managed fund, superannuation fund or pension fund in Australia through 2020 DIRECTINVEST and we will rebate 100% of the entry fee that would otherwise be charged.
Beware the "NIL" entry fee funds as these often have a higher annual management fee or MER. We recommend that you always choose the entry fee option and get the entry fee rebated through 2020 DIRECTINVEST and avoid the high cost “nil entry fee’ option.
Why should you be "penalised" with high entry fees if you are executing your investment decisions yourself?
Are you paying entry fees on existing investments?
If you already have an investment with a fund manager either directly or through a financial planner you may be paying entry fees. Nominate 2020 DIRECTINVEST as your fund broker to receive rebates on all future entry fees on additional investments including any regular monthly investments.
