R. Patrick Handley, Chief Executive Officer
Pat is highly experienced in managing and advising financial institutions and has over 38 years banking and finance experience both in Australia and the United States. He has held a number of directorial roles in both banking and non-banking companies such as Suncorp-Metway, AMP, Babcock & Brown and Pacific Brands. Pat was the former Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer at Westpac Banking Corporation from 1993-2001.
Vincent Hua, Chief Investment Officer
Vincent is a highly experienced trading and portfolio manager with over 17 years experience in the Australian and Asian markets. He has held senior positions at several financial organisations including Lehman Brothers (Australia), Commonwealth Bank of Australia, Shinsei Bank in Tokyo, Japan and Westpac.
Jun-Tsiang Lam, Chief Risk Officer
JT has extensive banking and investment experience spanning over 23 years across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. JT has held a number of leadership positions including as Asia-Pacific Managing Director of Global Markets & Treasury at WestLB AG, North Asia and Aust/NZ Head of Treasury at Deutsche Bank AG, and Senior Portfolio Manager at the New Zealand Sovereign Treasury.
Michael Lannon, Marketing Director
Michael founded 2020 DIRECTINVEST in 1996 to provide members of Australia’s leading professional associations with direct access to a broad range of investment products. Prior to founding 2020 DIRECTINVEST, Michael held the role of Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch International in both Australia and Canada, providing individuals and corporations with wealth creation strategies.
Peter Liau, Director of Research
With a background in actuarial studies, Peter has over 17 years experience at leading Australian and international institutions. Prior to joining 2020 Funds Management, Peter held a number of key positions with the CBA, Shinsei Bank (Japan) and Westpac. Peter was also previously with Trowbridge Consulting and AIA (previously part of the AIG Group) as well as a Director of Corporate Finance at BBY Limited (Sydney).
Leanne Leong, Chief Financial Officer
Leanne has over 25 years experience in the Australian banking industry with institutions such as Citigroup, HSBC and most recently as General Manager of Structured Finance, Capital Management and Securitisation at CBA. Since 2007, Leanne has been a member of the sub-committee of the Financial Instrument Revaluation Group of the International Accounting Standard Board (IASB), representing the Australian accounting community to the IASB for the purpose of setting the international accounting standard rules.
The management team will be co-investors in all investment funds offered by 2020 Funds Management.
