| May 2008 | | | Welcome to Investor Intelligence for May 2008
Wayne Swan delivered his first Federal Budget overnight and in this issue of Investor Intelligence we have made available a number of budget updates, commentary and round ups presented by those in the know, so you can find out what this new Budget means for you.
May brings us one step closer to 30 June and we encourage investors to keep a few important dates in mind:
- June 15 - applications close for non-forestry MIS projects. This could be your last chance to invest in non-forestry agribusiness projects and be entitled to an upfront tax deduction.
- June 30 - is your deadline to make super contributions, prepaid interest and applications for forestry agribusiness projects for this financial year.
Closing in June there are also a number of structured products available for investment that give investors the benefit of capital protection and 100% finance.
